On-line GED- Offered Monday through Friday from 10am to 12pm. Community members will be provided General Education Development Training when Enrolled.
Designed to be more rigorous and advanced, it operates as both a high school equivalency benchmark and a springboard into furthering your education. Rather than being broken into five parts as the previous version was, the latest incarnation consists of four parts, which you will also find within our free GED Practice Test here at 4Tests. They are:
• Literacy (Reading and Writing)
• and Social Studies
After school Tutoring- Offered Monday through Friday from 4pm to 6pm. This program provides homework and tutorials & assistance for Reading, English & Math.
We offer free after-school tutoring to help students with their homework, creative writing, expository writing, or English Language Learning. Our trained tutors are on-call to give students the time and attention they need to nurture their unique style and accomplish their learning goals. Each afternoon, we begin by tackling the day’s homework assignments and if there’s extra time, we wrap up with reading time and writing prompts. Parents and teachers help us target each student’s particular learning needs.
Adult Services- Offered Wednesday from 1pm to 5pm. Provides Teens & Adults ages 16 & Up with techniques for coping in Relationships, Parenting, Anger Management & Spiritual Development.
Job & Life Skills- This program will teach the Community, Resume & Application Skills, How to assess the right job; The Do's & Don'ts of an Interview process. We will also teach character building, Teamwork, Money & Time Management. These tools will teach you how to be Successful in Life! Services will be offered Thursday from 1pm to 4pm.
Career readiness and employability skills lesson plans have become an increasingly critical part of education. Employers are desperately seeking people with a combination of skills that seem to fall under this career readiness and employability umbrella that also include such things as soft skills, customer service skills and life skills.
Youth Mentoring- Offered Monday through Friday from 4pm to 6pm. This program provides Mentoring to children and youth on a weekly basis.
Food & Clothing Give Away- Offered Wednesday through Fridays from 1pm to 3pm. This program provides food & Clothing to clients of all ages on an as needed basis.

Senior Group Fellowship- Offered Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9am to 10am. This program provides information & Social Activities for senior residents.
HIV/AIDS Awareness & Prevention- Teach Community on the basic understanding of History, Origin, transmission, social & legal issues related to HIV/AIDS. Duval County Health Department every 1st & 3rd Friday from 1pm to 3pm.

The course introduces you to HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention, and covers basic information about HIV/AIDS, from having a HIV test to living with HIV or AIDS. This course is ideal for students, for those involved in community work, for health professionals and volunteers, and for anyone with an interest in global health issues, in particular HIV and AIDS awareness and prevention.
